Hill Country Day School is seeking positive and educated professionals to join our team. While our school is still in the building phase, we are excited to speak with those interested in making a career jump. We are hiring 4 infant teachers, 8 toddler teachers, 8 preschool teachers, 1 administrative assistant, and 1 preschool director. Our founder, Haleigh Almquist, has worked in the childcare field for 20 years and fully understands the demands of the profession and the importance of work-life balance. Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children’s progress, and use this information to plan and adjust instruction accordingly.
Encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and exploration.
Model appropriate behavior and social skills, and guide children in developing self-regulation and conflict resolution skills.
Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and developmental milestones.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s development, achievements, and challenges.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education (required).
Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
